Online TRV processing time in Canada

Hello Everyone,

My friend recently got his PGWP and applied for TRV within Canada on May 24th. It has been more than a month and no response yet. The processing time shows 8 days only. does any faced or facing a similar situation? What is the maximum time it can take to process TRV within Canada. Please let me know. Thank you.
 
TRV URGENT: No response after 28 days of online visa application

Hi,

I have applied my visa on 30/05/2016 online to attend international conference at Vancouver during 24-29th July, 2016. My friends also applied with me. They have already got their visas. Till now I have not got any mail from official side. Only 26 days are remaining. Without visa I am not able to buy my air tickets also. I do not know what to do. I am feeling so much helpless. I have already registered my research papers in the conference with huge amount which is non-refundable. If I could not present my papers orally, it will be a complete loss-my papers as well as the registration fees. I am becoming so much mentally weak. Please help me out in the situation. Shall I buy air tickets meanwhile? The fare is also quite high now. Please please please help me out.

Processing time can take a few days to a few months. There is not much you can do but, wait.

I have a question, online application in canada you have to scanned all the documents required.]

What about the original passport? Do you have to send the original passport at the same time by courier or they will ask for it.

I am wondering if we still have to send the original passport to for visa stamp.

Please advise.

Usually they ask for passport if you get approved for the trv
 
My parents applied for the TRV on June, 10 2016 however there is no update on the application yet. Any idea how long it would take?

Hello guys

I have the same issue , i submitted an online trv within canada on 16/6/2016 and did not get ppr yet.
I sent thm the inquiry form and they replied finally today saying that my application needs more time and that i can travel and submit th pp when thy ask for it from the country ill be in.

Does anyone received same letter?
I will travel as i already postponed 2 weeks!
So its possible to take 3 months?? Is there maximum time??

i am reading the instructions for trv application from within canada. it says to sign my name on the back of the photo. is that correct even for online submission?

I have applied for TRV for myself - PGWP and my spouse - OWP (in the same application) on Feb 9th. I received passport request 5 days later and mine is approved. However, there are no updates for my spouse. The problem that we need to travel in May and without it, my spouse will not able to re-enter Canada.
Any advice?
 
Hey !

I applied for TRV extension within Canada on 15th februay and no response yet. My friend applied on 10th february and got his extension approved within 5 days . So lets just wait and hope :) my visa expired on 7th of march.
