Online TRV application?

Hi Folks,

I am inviting my family here in Canada. I recently came to know that online application for TRV is possible for those who are applying for the first time outside the Canada. Just want to make sure is it true? Can we apply online?

it is possible. just download the applicable forms at this site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp and upload the completed products to the online portal by creating a myCIC account.

Ok, and where this application will be processed? In country of residence where my parents reside or in Canada? If approved, where the passports should be sent?

it will be processed in the country of your parents' residence. therefore they will need to send their passports to their local embassy once officially requested.

The trv forms will not open i download PDF readers and still it will not open it keep saying I need the latest version and when I do download it,it say the same thing.
