Online submission of IMM0008 - Generic Application Form for Canada

I am filling up the forms to submit my wife's outland spousal visa application. I will be submitting the forms online myself without the use of a representative

Do I need to take a print out of 'IMM0008 - Generic Application Form for Canada', sign and then upload? Or e-signing works ?

In the form, can I also provide my email address, Canadian mailing address and Canadian cellphone number for any correspondence (assuming all application work will happen in North American time zones) making it easier for me to receive notifications/ communication in the same time zone
