Online studypermit:Your application has been updated email but no update in CIC

Just got an email from CIC saying "Your application has been updated" but when I login to CIC , no update..is is technical error or some kind of prank...anybody got da same ?

Yes My brother applied for online study permit a month ago. He told be about this error. Later after a week or couple of week status changed to application approved. (didn't remember exact word, but his study permit got approved). For your future information, he received Study permit after 2-3 weeks of status change.
