online study visa - how long before they request medical report?

Hello,
I applied for a study visa (from South Africa) on the 22nd of May, but up to now I was not asked for anything. Is it normal?
Please share on how long did it take before they at least asked you for medicals. Thanks!

I applied online on 16th Feb,2016.

Got medical request on 31st May,2016.

So that should give you idea !!

no one can give u a specific answer to this question
it only when they review/open ur app and are satisfied with ur application
some cases they just send you for medicals sef and still refuse you visa
so medicals means nothing,but also a sign a progress

You have a point Farko, but the reason why I'm asking is not to have an idea whether I'll get approved or not, I just want to know if there might have internal progress even though they haven't updated me with anything, you know?
