When you applied online did you get the confirmation or the application number as soon as you paid the online fee??

Hello all. I applied online for a study permit and I received a message from CIC that they require my passport now. Does this mean that getting my visa is definite or is it still a maybe?

how can you provide him passport ? through courier or by hand?

Thru VFS in your city..
Or may be by goin directly to a CHC..

Yes it said one blank page and my passpot needs to be valid for my whole stay in Canada. Is that the pdf you receive if your visa is guaranteed?

Hi one of my friends said to apply for student visa you need to deposit $10000 in Canadian bank as maintenance funds applying outside canada. Is IT true. Please help me

Yes.. Its a GIC - Investment Certificate..
U deposit 10,100 CAD in skotiabank to keep as you living expenses..

so that u dnt become a liability on canadian govt later..
its a 20 day process in total.. so plan ahead..
