I am and American student in BC, and submitted my application for extension of my student permit (which was only originally issued for one term) online from inside Canada on December 31, 2014.
Since then, no update had been made to my account/application even long after the processing time for my date had come and gone. I emailed and called once or twice during that period and only got "it is not yet processed."
Today I finally received an email saying there was an update so I logged into myCIC account only to find that my application is now closed. The final line, it says "A final decision has been reached" then "This application has been withdrawn".
I didn't personally withdraw the application. Is it normal for it to say this? And if so and I just need to get the approval or denial letter, will it come to my account, or be mailed to me?
