Hello meets!

I applied for PR under FSW in June 2008. When the occupation list declared, I found that my NOC does not fit exactly with the circulated occupation list.

But, my last one year's job role matches with NOC-0213. On Apr, 09 I found in online status that my application was sent to NS, CIC office for final decision.. Predicting a long delay, I decide to withdraw the application and accordingly I sent a signed fax to Singapore visa office where I submitted my application.

At the end of May,09 at my online status I found my old application has been withdrawn and decision has been made. Then on 5th July,09 I submitted my mew application for FSW at CIC office. On September 03, 2009 I received eligibility confimation mail from CIC office and they requsted to subit my documents to Visa office at singapore.

On October 13, 2009 I have submitted my all documents to the visa office and they sent AOR with new file no. on 15th October.. till now I can see my online status is "Documents received by visa office" and it says review pending....

Here to mention few of my friends who applied for the first time as FSW has received the medical requst ... though they submitted papers after me.... I am a bit confused, why they are taking longer time for my case...

If anybody like me in the group.. pls respond and let me know your position..

Curious.

Summary:

Application sent to CIC office Ns, Canada - 5th July, 09
Received eligibility confirmation mail from CIC - 3rd Sept, 09
submitted the applicattion & all documents to the visa office, Singapore - 13th Oct, 09
Received AOR with new file no. on 15th October from Visa office..

... still now online status "Received by Visa office"....

Usually once you receive the AOR there is an average time mentioned in the letter like in New Delhi Visa office, AOR mentions 3 months and they applicant can contact. Likewise if you were also given 3 months then that time has elapsed and you should send Singapore office a case specific inquiry asking about the update on your file.

thanks for the reply.
I sent a email query last week and the reply is like this:-
" Dear Sir,

This application is still under process. We will contact you when we
have further information or requests.

HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA IN SINGAPORE "

My question is .. is it a normal process? or they are considering my case in a separate manner/priority.. as I am applying 2nd time?

Well its very difficult to say as each case is different. But delay's might b due to local office work load, back ground checks etc. I would suggest you to be calm and wait for communication from local office
