Online processing time?

My girlfriend applied for her TRV from the Philippines online on Oct. 12. The application was received the following day.

She got an e-mail the other day notifying her of a status update, but when she goes on her account nothing has changed. Application is still listed as "open".

Curious if it is common for people to be notified about the CIC's final decision after the process-time that is listed on the CIC website?

Also CIC e-mailed her telling her of an update to her application, but nothing has changed. Is this common too?

What Jalex said, and if you will order the GCMS notes, pretty sure it will correspond to an internal update that just isn't displayed online.

Given the time that has passed, your GF might expect the final result in a letter in her account soon.
