Hello,

Can anyone tell me how useful these 2 sites are:

https://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship

and

http://www.citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz

I can score pretty high on both (usually between 35 and 38 out of 40) but I'm still working on taking down notes and improving my score each time.

Is being able to pass these tests enough to give you piece of mind that you can pass the actual exam on the day? Or should you memorize the study book cover to cover? I did read the book but it's such a huge amount of knowledge to absorb I felt overwhelmed by it all. I've taken down notes but I'm really just hoping someone can tell me how good these two links are as another study source. I've seen them recommended in a few different immigration forums.

The sites you mentioned are very useful, you should definitely use them (and also try my site, its nice too, i promise :p). (I am working on adding a notes section to my website, but it's going to take a while)

It is a decent indication of your level of readiness.
It depends on you tbh. Some people can just read the guide and wing it, and others (like me) need notes + a lot of practice to get comfortable.

My feedback about the test is that the questions aren't hard or tricky. Since the questions are not tricky, the time allowance is also pretty generous in my opinion. But I have received feedback that 30 minutes may not be enough for people who are still not 100% comfortable with English.

I shy away from using tests as a 'study source' but use them as indicators of what I was unable to pick up from my reading of the source.
