Was your application returned? If not, I wouldn’t resubmit
 
shit. since i found this issue, it has been 10days. still "submitted" with "return reason: photos are missing", "view" grey.

I have questions, I was unaware that a portal such this exists. I have applied through mail, can I apply for renewal online again? I just applied a week ago. I am not sure why this portal is not available when you go to find out about the renewal in the documents that is being provided. I had to look at a you tube video to find the link.

I found this by myself by logging into the portal. No email.
View button is greyed.

How about you? It seems like a glitch, but not sure.

How could the photos be missing? The system doesn't even allow submission until photos are uploaded. Did you not upload them?
 
Yes it seems that you opened the view one time and was checking and then you submit by mistake ?

I have applied on 23 nov mine was same now week before the return reason disappeared and status still submitted and today i am able to link the application on cic gc account now i can see atleast my application number

Prettt sure it’s a glitch. Same thing has happened to dozens of people on this forum and on Reddit.
 
Have any of you successfully received your renewed PR card after applying online and seeing the return reason status glitch?
 
On my wife's online PR card renewal application, she had faced a similar glitch, where the return reason had appeared and then disappeared in a couple of weeks (app submitted - 17 Nov 22, don't remember the dates of return reason). There were no status updates since, and the application not yet linked to GC key. However, yesterday she received her new PR card in mailbox .
