Hi,everybody,

I joined here a couple of days ago,and sent my application out in 1st April,CIC received our package in 3td April.
My problem is that I can't check my application status online now because I didn't get IMM5401.
I submitted my online receipt,but I can't use that number track it. is that the only way I can do waiting for CIC sent me Email or something?

to answer your question - yes, there is nothing to do, apart from waiting for CIC to contact you. THe receipt number most of the time doesn't work, and as McDutch said - there is not much to see on ecas (yet all of us spend a considerable amount of time staring at it! ;-) )

luckily - CIC is pretty quick these days to send an AOR. So, jsut wait, until you get an AOR from CIC ( acknowledgement of receipt) or your sponsor approval.
Shouldn't be too long!

We are all checking ecase everyday more than once, the thing is that we also all know that most of the time it is just not up to date with your real application, but sometimes it just gives us hope that we know that CIC has our file and will hopefully start processing them soon so we would be re-united with our beloved once more.

Hi GiftedKoala :)

I know exactly how you are feeling. When we did our payment online the only thing I received was the transaction receipt for the payment to my credit card... I did not get an IMM5401... I missed a step. Was frantic with worry they would send the whole package back :(
They were able to use the receipt I sent and sponsorship approval was received 21 days after the package arrived at CIC-M
I think you are ok :)

I hope so,Thank you. I ordered IMM5401 from CIC website,but I have not get yet. Ummm,21 days,I think it will be next month. I sent it out a big package,10kg,included all the documents and pictures ,I am thinking if they sent it back,the ship fee is so expensive from Beijing China to Canada.

HELLO ALL,
i sent my application to cic on 18 march i paid the fees online i recieved the AOR's (Acknowledge of Receipt) in the same day on march 18,2013.and on 11 april i recieved an email confirming that they received the application on march 22 right now evreythings is good.
but today i recieved an email from cic saying im missing the payment fees.but i already sent the copy of payment reciept with my application that i got it from them via email when i applied.im confused now i dont know what i have to do please help thanks
