Online Notarization of Common Law Declaration

Does any one know if an online notarized common law declaration would be acceptable by IRCC? Given the risk of COVID-19 I was wondering if this was a valid option.

Notarization can only be done in person.

You have to sign some documents in front of the Notary Officer. You can send someone in lieu of you in some cases, but grabbing a mask and going yourself is probably the simplest option.
