Hi peps

Can someone share an opinion or experience about taking online courses?
This semester I a taking one online course, and I want to take one more online course next semester. Will that affect my PGWP??

Any thoughts

Thanks

Yes it would affect pgwp..distance learning (online) courses is not eligible for pgwp...

This is lame, because my course, have 1 online only subject(business law). So if I go through with this course I cannot get PGWPP. This is awful. I will be contacting my school because this is not right.

There is no option for me to select Traditional for that course. Hence, because of that I will have issues with PGWP. Thanks for the information.

Peace. :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

I took two courses online ... and got my pgwp although I did not submit a transcript. You can always get a letter from your university if you were enrolled in other on campus courses for that term. DLE being used as a refusal base is due to the fact that students can enroll in online courses and not attend classes and work full time etc. But if only a couple of courses appear on your transcript that are online along with courses that you are taking on campus in the same semester should not be a problem

Incorrect. Any online course marked on your transcript will make you ineligible for PGWP.

If you are talking about the General Elective courses (Gen Ed) then it wont affect PGWP. I had to do some of these courses while in university, courses like (living green, world religion and ethics)

If you talking about online courses instead of attending them in proper class room that you will have to verify with the school itself.

It depends on college to college i guess. In Sheridan college if you are taking atleast 12 credits in class you are a full time student.
