I hope so haha. Can't imagine even more time of waiting for an interview before oath invite

Not according to the table here (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/citizenship-test.html), unless it hasn't been updated

After the test: result, interview and next steps
After the test, you’ll meet with a citizenship official for an interview. During the interview, the citizenship official will:

  • give you the results of your test, if you had one
  • check your language skills, if you’re between 18 and 54 years of age
  • verify your application and original documents
  • ask any questions we may have about your application
  • make sure you meet all the requirements for citizenship

This interview was done right after the test, before leaving the building, when there were sit-in tests. The interviewer looks through all the documents and asks other questions they might have. BUT since the tests have moved online, I don't think this step is still done, maybe on very exceptional basis, which I am yet to see.

Sounds good. Maybe they are reserving the interview for those who could not do the test etc.

Went back and corrected. Sorry about that! Too many different years!
Still lucky to get it. Many are still waiting. Pray for us too.

Congrats @AshesNdust !

Looks like the request for additional documents before/after the online test isn't that common after all.... Not seeing many people talking about that here...

My coworker got the request because he had one discrepancy on his application regarding a trip outside of Canada. He thought he had all of then list, but he missed. We think that’s what triggered the request for him.

Do you know when he submitted the docs? If he did, then did he hear back after submitting?

Update on my process, I just got the virtual oath invite. So, my timeline:

Test Invite: Dec. 18th
Took test: Dec. 26th
Decision Made: Jan. 7th
Oath Invite: Jan. 22nd
Congrats! Lucky you . I applied In May 2019 and my status is still In process which was started in september 2019. Haven't got any update ( other than the usual reply ) from them despite contacting them via webform and phone call. I am losing my patience now, it's been almost two years . Is there anyone else in the same boat?
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

He submitted the all. but the medical, docs around Dec 15th and the medical the second week of January. He took the test the first week of January. I checked in with him today and he said he hasn’t heard anything. So, he passed the test and is still in the “In Progress” stage.
