I checked my status today and it's changed for "decision made". Last time I checked was Dec 11, so it changed between that day and today (Dec 17).

I did the online test on the Dec 6 and I had no interview.

I'm stuck on the treadmill of both trying to get my citizenship and sponsor my husband. I am so, so, so tired of all of it - but what more can any of us do. There's been pressures put ircc and we are finally seeing some movement, including the family sponsorship program..but my biggest fear is what will happen when O'Toole becomes PM - not so much my citizenship process but my sponsorship. This all feels like one big nightmare...and navigating alone without being with my husband (I haven't seen him in over 8 months) is really stressful.

What are the odds of O’Toole becoming PM? And in what year?

There are few already we saw that they get oath invite after the test without the interview.
Interview is not mandatory as per new online process.

What are the odds of O’Toole becoming PM? And in what year?

I believe the odds of O'Toole becoming prime minister are high - I think the WE scandal is a big one, I know it was a huge disappointment to me. An election can be called at any time and there was talk of it this fall, but with corona it fell by the wayside. I think an election now won't happen before it needs to happen - 2023, but it's really hard. Since, I will likely be able to vote in the next federal election I'm going to be keeping a close eye on this!

I think that it was only for couple of candidates they sent oath invite within a week or so. But this cant be baseline time for all. So will see how their respective officer works on that particular file. No one knows. Its all depends on the officer on how fast he/she moves ahead.

I don't feel threatened by O'Toole and I'm still uncertain we will need to wait 3 years for an election... we were really close to having an election called this fall and would have likely had it were it not for Covid.

Its by email but you can update your mailing address by web form
