What does the below mean, receiving the request for the test when in USA???

Any one did this? please share experience....


If you’re outside of Canada
If you get your invitation and plan to take the test while you’re outside Canada, send an email to the address in the Eligibility section of your invitation.

In your email

• put “Outside Canada – Citizenship Test” in the subject line
• in the body of your message, include
  • your full name
  • your application number
  • the start and end date for your test

We’ll contact you with your next steps after we receive your email.

It might delay your application if you take test outside Canada, if possible drive across the border take test and go back.

They will just tell you to take the test my friend did here test in England and did not delay anything it depends on the office they replied in 48hrs and she did her test. the tracker updated and now she is just waiting for her Oath which in in Jan.

Do you have any updates on your friend's situation?
I just got my test invite (window from Jan 20 - Feb 9). I'm also overseas though, and I have been reading of all these bad experiences from people who took their test abroad.
Wondering if I should just fly to Canada to take the test.
