I just took my online citizenship test today. I had previously opened 2 tabs (before starting) which happened to be the email to which the test link was sent and the exam registration tab. I only remembered to close them mid-way through the test. However; I did not click on/ use them. Will this be suspected as cheating/ unsual activity and affect the results?

Even if you did get a popup that reminded you that you are in a different window/tab and you closed it immediately, it shouldn't be an issue. Also, if you had the tabs open but you never clicked on them or away from the test window, you should be good.

I doubt it and I hope they don't flag this as "suspicious behavior".
Thanks so much! I have one more question if you don't mind. How long does it generally take for the test to show as complete on the tracker? I tried looking at the spreadsheet but I guess this info's not captured there. Thanks again.

Usually takes a couple of days but for some applicants, it might take longer.

How long does it take for the Citizenship Officials to update the Tracker about the Oath Date after ECAS shows Decision Made & Tracker shows Citizenship Ceremony not started but everything else updated to complete?

It's been 3.5 months since I did the test and haven't heard back from them. How many applicants in the same boat? I see many receive updated on the 3 months mark, but it seems it will extend a couple more months for me before I hear something  How frustrating

Hello

Today I received email from Scarborough office saying I have to submit my passport copy or travel documents and they told me to mail it to them in 30 days with that letter.

Is it normal ?

do I have to submit Work permit or COPR copies?

test was done on July 3, and status updated to completed for test on July 5.

I am a Dec 2019 applicant, we are now close to 5 months since test being done and completed on tracker. Prohibitions, Language and Physical Presence still In progress with no change at all, this is Vancouver office. I have all but given up hope that we will be invited to oath this year at all as even after everything is completed, it takes up to 3 months for an oath invite. I am in the process of renewing my PR now, doesn't make any sense waiting for completion of citizenship when there is no timeline.

I was hoping to get the my passport before the end of this year. Not any more. I am renewing my PR card too. The processing times are absurd for both applications

There isn't a standard timeline. To avoid disappointment, expect it'll take at least a couple of months from DM to get an oath date.

Guys can we follow the eCAS status because ours is showing Decision made and they are mailing the result. They also say if you are approved, we will include your citizenship certificate with the decision letter. Only today I check ours for the first time as I was following the tracker prior and only citizenship test and background completed rest says in progress on the tracker.

I don't want to be that guy but "They are mailing result. They also say if you are approved, we will include your citizenship certificate with the decision letter". Sounds scary to me. They will not send you Citizenship certificate ever before Oath. and Oath comes in after everything is Complete.

I guess you will have to wait and see. I would call the IRCC to find out the decision.

You're right I was reading the wrong thing eCAS is a bit confusing. Sorry

This is what it says
