Why is there no picture on the Visa?

I was wondering the same thing. Especially after uploading the digital picture, and them taking the picture at the time of biometrics.

After 2 months of wait, today received PP request..

USPS and winter storm created a havoc for me. I had sent my passports to NY on 8, using priority mail scheduled to be delivered on 10, and they delivered it on 18. I was scared for a few days that my mail is lost because there was no status update for 5 days.

Today CIC closed my application and changed to approved. I assume they will dispatch my passports today / tomorrow. I will check tomorrow again to see if my tracking number is activated.

I applied online for the multiple-entry visa two weeks ago, yesterday I received an email notification saying there is update on my application, but when I logged in there was nothing new. How frustrating....


For the ppl who applied recently, how long is the processing time to get a response? (passport requested or rejected)

i also had this issue of receiving notification about updated with no updates. I took me about 5 working days for passport requests.

Passport reached NY: 18 Feb

Hi,

Did anyone who applied online in Feb get any information about submitting passport?

I applied on 10th Feb online for visitor visa, but still waiting. No information yet.

Have to travel to Canada in April 1st week, not sure if I will be able to get visitor visa by that time.

hi:
i applied Feb 21st, got comfirmed but nothing more. i knew it is a bit early to worry. but see lots of complaints, which makes me worry.
i had an expired Travel Canadian visa, hope this would make it easier and faster.
