No no its a not a problem ,but many student got visa in sept 5th to 10th.there is a problem for sept intake...only 5/10 days delay visa and delay 4 month for study ..

cool.In my University class enrollment process start's on June 28th and classes on July 4th.Am waiting for my visa approval.

Hi Friends, Today CIC Updated my new UCI number in my account.Anyone have idea how long it takes for my visa processing from today?

For the benefit on those who applied online (for a tentative timeline)
Applied online for study permit on 1 May 2017 (from India).
IELTS overall 8.
Medical upfront.
Passed Medicals on 29th May (saw the status on CIC account. Did not receive any email)
Received request for passport submission on 1 June.
Submitted passport on 1 June at VFS Bangalore.
Collected passport with visa stamped on 7 June.

I applied on may 17. Similar to Mandy, I didn't receive any email but status changed to medical passed.
Now they are requesting for passport in the status.But I haven't received any email or message citing details on where to send the passport.

if you have got the passport request letter on your cic account then just submit your passport at the nearest vfs,you will get it back after 7days with visa stamped.Congrats.

Oh, That's awesome. I was expecting CIC to request for additional documents but they requested to send the passport instead. Do I have to submit previous passport too? Once, I get visa stamped, I will write a detailed review of online application of study permit.
