Is there a meaningful difference in picking one over the other while applying in March/April this year?
Am I putting more thought into this than I should?

It seems, from what I've read in this forum, that the online applications are being processed much faster. Now, I don't know if that will have an impact on the Oath of citizenship grant, but at least they are receiving AOR and in process much sooner.

At this point online applications are slow, very slow, it seems they picked few lucky applicants for their testing of this new tool and rest of us are waiting for over 3 months now for AORs. Paper based system is well established and people are getting AORs as normal. I would prefer paper based but you can do ur own research and decide.

I believe that they are clearing all the backlogs of paper applications. Online application is the future, and here to stay.
Just like in the case of PR, even with the existence of paper applications, online is preferred as it moves faster. its easier to validate and no hassle for it to be scanned and sent to the local processing office.
Online applicants may be delayed at the moment, but when it picks up in a few months, it will be faster.

Hi everyone. I am applying for citizenship at the end of the month. I have completed the paper application but now I am thinking that I should submit it online as it seems to be going a bit faster.

However, how would I upload the required passport photo to the online application?

Could you share a link to the online application?

Is it just my browser or does the online application link not work half the time?
