Guys, going by a cursory look at the thread, its taking on average 20 days after the applying for the review to start. Am I correct in this understanding. What do you think?
Average visa processing is about 28 days from India, but much depends on the documentation and applicants individual circumstances. The fist time a applied for a TRV back in September 2017 it took me seventeen days and this time reapplied in May 2018 it took less than 24 hrs. So it depends ..

Applied 4june
Review start 19 June
Visa approved 27 June
Passport dispatch same day
Still waiting call from Courier service

Hi @Bryanna

My niece’s visa is refused on grounds of family ties in canada and country of residence. And purpose of visit.

We had provided everything including purpose of visit. Parents already got canada’s visa.

Its ottawa visa office who issued letter not new delhi.

Now i am wondering if we could apply for gcsm notes without sponsor?

Hi, I apply for the Canadian tourist Visa Online on the 4th of Jun from the USA. I already sent my biometrics and so far I haven't received any answer. I'm a Colombian student with an F1 USA Visa. Does anyone applying online from the USA have the same problem?

Sorry to hear that.

1. How old is your niece and what does she do?

2. How long is her visit? Purpose? How long would her parents be visiting?

3. What documents did she submit?

4. What strong ties do her parents have to India?

There's no problem. Processing time varies from application to application. You will need to wait for a decision

1. How old is your niece and what does she do?

She is 13yo, studies in class 8th.

2. How long is her visit? Purpose? How long would her parents be visiting?

Visit was requested for 12 days.

3. What documents did she submit?

She submitted her school certificates, fee receipts, school leave letter. Plus parents bank statements worth 15000 cad, plus lic under my niece’s name. Niece has been to Australia before in her school holidays.

4. What strong ties do her parents have to India?

Niece’s Father has a government job, moveable assets. No property under his name but has Father’s mother live with them. My sister is a homemaker.[/QUOTE]
