Please update when you get the passport. I got mine introduction letter today.

that's great guys!!

but smallbird, wow, 3 months??

dipta, could you share your profile and timeline, please? smallbird, too?

@smallbird: So there's a month delay before the medical exam results be sent to the embassy if medical was done in St. Luke's in Ermita? Anyone who have an experience with IOM Manila Health Center in Makati? I'm very near this clinic so I might do my medical here once I receive my request.

Congratulations to you both!

@ Dipta .... will do

@ DocRZ.... with regards to my medical , it was holy week season plus another holiday - April 9 , 4 days cause of additional delay....honestly DocRZ and Boston , I do believe that you guys will not be required of a medical exam (gut feeling) but instead a request for passport will be sent to you both soon .....buzz IOM charges less than (cheaper and lesser wait) St Luke that releases results a little longer (more expensive and longer wait)

with all due respect I'd like to keep my profile , personal.

Shared my Timeline

@smallbird: What makes you think I'll be waived of medical exam? :) I thought almost everyone is required to clear the medical exam although the website says "may request for medical exam". I read exemptions are based on country of residence only. But hopefully this gut feeling of yours turns to reality.

I'll just post here the rates of both clinics when I get to call them for an appointment.

All the best to everyone!

that's for applications made inside canada...

Yes all online applications are made inside canada.

I don't agree with you because if they were then pretty much everyone had gotten response in similar time.

@POTPOT and @ dipta

I applied online on April 11th and website says "working on apps submitted April 3". By that it means that my application hasn't been seen by a VO, 6 weeks now?

The cic website only teells application submitted inside canada not for your country it depends on your CHC. If exceeds normal processing time you can call them to know about your application.

not yet.I am still waiting for my visa.I applied through online application. Ok.copy.

Maybe someone can clarify about the different stages of an application made through the online facility. Where the documents are evaluated and reviewed as well as the office who grants the visa. There's this confusion if it's done in Canada or in the nearest visa office. If someone can call an embassy to inquire please do so. I'm also asking a friend in Canada to inquire about this. Hopefully she'll give me an update.

@ DOcrZ I have got POE which is from Singapore office the CHC responsible for my home country. So from my experience I can tell that visa is processed on their home country or the office responsible for your home country.
