Online application or paper based? (Spouse)

Hi guys. I will soon be becoming a PR of Canada, and had a quick question.

Can I submit an online application for sponsoring my spouse ONLINE once I land it Canada? I thought spousal sponsorship applications were always paper based.

Can someone enlighten me if its possible?

Ps: on paper you can submit both spousal and OWP, while online you have to wait for the AOR to submit OWP

there are a few documents that need to be printed , signed and scanned back and uploaded

i personally have not done an online application but that is my understanding

Yes, this is true. Some documents are filled in directly online and others are PDFs that will need to be filled in and uploaded or filled in, printed, signed (some by both parties), scanned and uploaded.

Based on my experience filling online application for parents sponsorship it reduces the amount of mistakes that you might do and its supposed to expedite the process so if you have he chance go online .
