Online application for student visa from abu dhabi. Pls help!

Hi,
I have applied for my student visa online 7 weeks ago but still haven't heard anything yet. I was told by the office that it is still under process. On the website it says the processing time is 4-7 weeks but I wanted to know if they take longer since this is a high volume period. Anyone having any similar experience it wouldbe great if you could give me any sort of information. I hold anindian passport but have beenborn andlived in uae all my life. I have applied earlyfor the sept 2013 intake but am anxious since its already been 7 weeks. Looking fwd to your help.

wait till the 10th week.... because there will be high volume.... what is nationality?? because they take 20 more..(WORKING DAYS) for the south asian and some other country of citizen who live in GCC!!!

20 more days is not for all south asian nationals in UAE. from south aisia its mostly for Pakistan nationals and this information is dearly stated in the embassy website. 20 more days from regular processing time does not apply for Indian nationals Nadeem jee please check your "facts"
