Online Application - Bridging Open Work Permit

Hi all,

I am trying to apply for the Bridging Open Work Permit online and I need to get through the eligibility questionaire in order to do that. I need a confirmation that it is applying for an "open work permit" and not "Apply or Extend work permit (in canada)"
I would greatly appreciate if someone can help me with this problem.

Hello! I saw your post and obviously already applying or have applied for an open work permit. Just want to ask hiw long did it take you to recieve confirmation from CIC that your application for permanent residency is eligible as this is per requirement for bridging open work permit, right. Your response will truly be appreciated. Thanks!

We applied for PR under CEC and got our Acknowledgement of Receipt that the application has deemed complete and accepted for processing and our payment accepted around 6 weeks after the application was received, so we applied for BWOP online and attached a copy of the AOR to support our application for open work permit based on pending PR..
