This is my timeline :

Applied online - 18 th july
pp request - 21 st july
pp sent - 22 nd july
pp received by the high commission - 23 rd july

Medical status changed to passed - 8 th august
Application status changed from not started to approved - 12 th august

I was informed that u don't get notified anything on the online status ....... what did they communicate to u

..and what made u decide on sending out the passport when you weren't asked for it?? I am guessing this is Online application under general category.

ask 85 - I got passport request on 21 st July. Mine was a case of medical furtherance so high commission had an idea that my medical won't be q problem anymore ( coz the main test came negative) ..
I hope this answers your doubt.

Maria - Your get your letter of introduction on mycic account minutes after the application is approved( at least in my case it was quick) . And the details ( a final decision has been made changes to this application has been approved)
