My husband (who I am sponsoring) made an account here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html.

We haven't received any notifications about our AOR1 as of yet - am I correct in assuming that he can't link the application to his account until we have the application number/UCI? Or is there a way for him to link it before that point?

Also, am I correct in assuming that he will link it to his account, as the sponsored person who is applying, and that I won't be able to link it to my account (I have a GCKey account, for other government services)?

may take more than 8 weeks to receive AOR....patience.

Wait until after you have received AOR and then link application to PA or SA GCKey account.....prefer PA account cos after SA approval PA PR application processing starts.

Yeah, I knew AOR1 took a while, I just wanted to make sure I am understanding it right and that I just need to be patient! :) Thanks :)
