Hi, I have received a full-time job offer from an Ontario employer. However, the offer is valid only for 3 years (until 2025). I was wondering if three year contract will be considered as a permanent one in Ontario. In Saskatchewan, for SINP, any job offer that is for more than two years, they consider as a permanent one. I was wondering if OINP is the same. Thank you.

Is this for one of the Employer Job Offer OINP streams? If so, the answer is here (taken from the OINP site):

The job offer must be for a full-time and permanent position.

Full-time means the job must be a minimum of 1,560 hours a year and a minimum of 30 hours of paid work per week.

Permanent means the job must have no end date (also known as an indeterminate duration). Job offers that are seasonal and/or contract based are ineligible.
