One Year USA exp beneficial or not?

I am from India.I came to USA this year and got an opportunity to work as trainee in food processing company.
I assisted in documenting and implementing Food Safety System and Policies in the company.
Next year, me and my husband are moving to Canada as Permanent Resident. I will get one experience as trainee in USA till then.

I would like to know if my current north american experience would be beneficial for finding some start up job in food processing industry in Canada.
or
I have to land up with some "survival Jobs" in Canada to gain Canadian Experience??

Yes, it will be beneficial.
"Survival Jobs" are part of life when starting here in Canada so don't get discouraged when you experience this once you landed.
Only use these survival jobs as a platform to get your feet wet and persevere to aim for the job that you are really qualified for.
