one year gap in study , what can i do to fill it ?

If you have done something in those 4 yrs. i mean jobs or internships than there is no problem , you can show everything to the university...Hardeek said:
one year gap is no big deal .... but make sure that u write a effective and impressive SOP,,,,ok....cheer up and get ur visa. good luck.

I also have a similar problem like you.. I finished my B.Sc Eng degree in 2012 and I got admission in Monash university, Australia for Jan 2014 intake.
I didn't do anything last 1 year.. i did IELTS and a Management course which is 3 months...
Can you please forward me your SOP for my reference.... pls drop me a mail

1 year gap is usually filled with reasons - preparing for IELTS and visa. It doesn't impact your case. GAP between last education and your application for study visa, if it's more than 1 year, you should have work experience letters to provide.Hardeek said:
For Universities (for most of the prominent Unis), you aren't late only for Jan, but you are late even for May and for some you are even late for September. Concordia, UNi of windsor and such Unis will give you admission even if you apply couple of months ahead of semester start date.
