I don't mean to be the voice of gloom and doom but I myself did the same thing, sent my application earlier than I should have and it was rejected for that reason. If you've received your AOR they will not send any of your application back and you will need to get another copy of your IELTS and your Police certificate and you will need to apply with the most up to date forms....I would definately get your Letter of Reference updated so that it shows it was written AFTER you became eligible to apply.

How long you got your rejection after you submit your application? and how many days you lack of?

you have done what you can do at this stage, but as per the cic website they will not reply unless you submitted your application over 6 weeks ago , try sending them new email after 6 weeks , usually it takes 2 months as per the current trend to receive file number , hope they reply to you before they give you a file number

How to contact the Centralized Intake Office

If you applied to the CIO under the Canadian Experience Class and need information about your case, you may contact the Client Service Unit (CSU). Note that if your application has already been sent to the visa office for processing, the CIO will not be able to help you.

You will not get a reply to your email if:

you have not already applied under the Canadian Experience Class,
you are not authorized by the applicant to get their personal information,
you applied within the last six weeks, or
your question is about a topic other than your case.
Please do not send the same question more than once. You can reach the CSU at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca.

Yea, you are right. I called CIC, the agent said she is not sure about my case. She said I should ask CIO office where I sent my application which sounds wired to me. Then I sent an email to CIO, I don't know when or whether I will get reply, but there is no phone I could call them directly.Frustrating...

Yes, I can't do anything else. I will send an email after 6 weeks again to see if I can update another reference letter. But probably I will just take a risk instead of withdrawing. If I get rejection, I will apply next year. I am not in a rush since I keep working here. Just feel myself too careless to prepare the application.

I was a few days short and it took over 7 months to get the rejection email.

Once you recieve the AOR you cannot get a refund of your processing fees. If you wait and then get rejected later on then you will have to re-apply and pay again. You will also have to get another copy of your language test and police certificate and pay for those too.
Best of luck.

Not in a rush, how the mistake then? doesn't make sense! sorry to sound harsh.
If you can waste $500 fine, but id be smart about it if I were you, withdraw now so you don't have to pay another $500. In turn they will send back your PC check and IELTS certificate (both are grief to get hold of again + more money!)
Be smart, do yourself a favour
