Hey Guys,
So once we get an NOI you have to register for ONe-Key ID. Then you will get an email says
" You have successfully registered your ON
e-key account. Your ON
e-key ID is:
xxxxxx
ON
e-key gives you secure access to Ontario Government online services. You can login at any time on
www.one-key.gov.on.ca to manage your ON
e-key account (change ID, change password, change language preference, etc.) and to enrol for accessing the available online services. You can also go directly to the Ontario Government website you are interested in - if required, you will be prompted to login with your ON
e-key ID and password to access it. "
What I understood is this is one time registration to get ONe-Key and once you start filling the profile or registering the profile then you will have 14 days to complete it .
From their manual on " TIPS FOR SUBMITTING AN ONLINE APPLICATION VIA THE OINP e-FILING PORTAL " pasting the relevant notes below.
- SIGNING UP FOR ONe-key
- You must sign up for a ONe-key account or use your existing account to access the OINP e-
Filing Portal.
- If you are signing up for a new ONe-key account, click on the “Sign up now!” link.
- If you forget your ONe-key password, you can recover your password by answering the security questions you set up during ONe-key account registration. If you have forgotten your ONe-key ID, you will need to create a new ONe-key ID and password, unless you provided your email address during registration. If so, please follow the on-screen instructions to retrieve your ONe-key ID. ONe-key will send you an e-mail containing your ONe-key ID.
- If you are redirected to a ONe-key page asking for an Enrollment Number and PIN, this is a system error. You must ensure that you access the OINP e-Filing Portal directly from the OINP website.
- REGISTERING A PROFILE
- You must not open more than one window/browser tab at a time when registering a profile. This will create errors in your registration.
- Once you are logged into the e-Filing Portal, you must register a profile for the stream to which you would like to apply. Note: you may only submit one registration per stream.
- Please ensure that you carefully enter your information when creating this profile, as the information will be used to populate the relevant fields in your application.
- If your registration is successfully submitted, you will receive a file number, as well as a confirmation email to the email address provided in your profile. From there, you will be redirected to the main page of your OINP e-Filing Portal where you can access and complete your application.
- Note: To ensure processing efficiency and quality customer service, the OINP is managing the volume of applications to certain streams. These streams will be paused and reopened throughout the year until the province’s 2017 federal allocation is fulfilled. Once the intake limit has been reached, you will be unable to submit a registration. Please monitor the OINP website for news and updates on when the OINP will resume accepting applications.
- You may only register for the Human Capital Priorities Stream or the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream after you have received a Notification of Interest from Ontario through your Express Entry online account with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream:
You must register a profile for the HCP stream within 6 months from the date that your Notification of Interest from Ontario was issued. All NOIs issued as of February 23, 2017 are valid for six months.
After you successfully register a profile, you must submit your application to the OINP within 14 calendar days.
