Unless the husband is 30 years or older, he cannot drive any car, even with an international driver licence. Until he turned 30, he can only drive a car that is insured in his name only. So the wife would have to add him to her insurance policy to have him drive the car. Otherwise he cannot drive any car without his name insured on the car.Maddants said:hey there skas13.......try and tell your husband to get an international driver license/permit before he comes to canada....this will allow him to drive until the international license expired. this will give him the chance to get use to driving in canada also and he can drive as soon as he step outside the airport.....by doing this.....he can try and get the ontario license in the mean time....
