Once 5000 quota is met, any ideas on when the FSW program will re-open?

I read that they will introduce EOI approach. Will it make difficult to immigrate or it will not effect?

EOI = expression of interest, like Australia and NZ.

If EOI will come into the picture, does it mean that any occupation will be eligibal to apply or they will still follow the NOC . I fall in 2282 [ User support technicia] which is not at all considered under FSW.

Please suggust if I can go ahead and apply once the quota will open?

If they introduce the EOI system, it'll probably be like the same in NZ, and things could be much worse as all the applicants will be kept in a pool and on every forth-night they'll pick applicants according to their points and the remaining applicants are kept back in the pool, with an expiry date of 6 months.....its a waiting game. For EOI NZ, without having a job offer or without scoring above 135 points, its unlikely the application will be picked up......I only hope this doesn't happen for FSW in future.
