CIC is moving very quickly, so please wait. There is nothing you can do as far as I know. One thing is certain CIC will process all the applications within 12 to 15 months. So since you sent in August2014 you will get PR around the same time this year. If the CIC officers take the file for processing they move very quickly, just that its delayed now.Sandipppp said:Need some advise!!
I applied to CIO on August 25/14, but still awaiting file number. Upon emailing and asking for the status, i received the following response on January 14/2014:
"Dear Sir / Madam
This is to confirm that we have received your application. Please note you will be notified once a file number has been assigned to your application.
We do not require any information from you at the present time. We will contact you if further information is required.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.
Regards,

It is almost a month now and i haven't received FN yet. Guys is there anything else can i do to get the FN?
Should i email them back after 30 days, even when they stated not to email them in future re this matter?
i am an OPNP w/QA call. Please share your thoughts!!
Especially Ontario PNP they are processing quickly. So dont worry. Concentrate on your other things - Jobs, family, social life etc. This will come through. if you keep on checking your status it will not change.
