ON-PNP applicant submitted file for PR !! Let's get together here ...

Hi guys,

I have started this topic for ON-PNP applicant who submitted their file to CIC for PR. Please share your timeline here so we can get an idea if something wrong with ON-PNP or it's is same with all province PNP. You guys might aware that people applied after you, received AOR and MR. I saw people from MAY 2014 didn't get AOR yet. So let's connect here.

As you might expect, there is nothing much to write ON-PNP timeline

Here is my timeline:

File reached to CIC : 19th Sept
AOR and MR :???

I contacted MP today and they called CIC. All he got reply that my file is reached there on 19th Sept, 2014. That's it.

Hi seniors, I need your guidance, and I will really appreciate your kind words on my case,
I came here in Ontario to complete my Masters (M.Eng) in April-2014, before that I had 5 years of experience in industry in Pakistan (after Bsc. Elec. Eng Undergrad)

I have completed 2 semesters of M.Eng (May-2014 to Sep-2014 with 90%+ grades) here in Canada and only left with one semester, these days I am completing my Co-op which is for 8 months (Jan-15 to Aug-2015). I have a wife and kid back home (their visit visa refused 2 times for Canada). My question is

1. Can I apply for Ontario PNP now?, as they say you can apply if you have lived for 1 year in Ontario, and in April my 1 year will be completed, although my degree is still not complete!
2. Will my Co-op experience count towards one year for CEC, if I apply for Canadian Experience Class (CEC)? I know for FSW I need LMO based job offer which is near to impossible, so for me only hope is either CEC or PNP, what you say?
3. Since my degree is not complete (One semester left) If I apply for PNP and write them a letter explaining the situation that I will stay here in Ontario, and since my grades are excellent, I will definitely complete my degree as well, will they accept this letter and issue me PNP letter? And what usually time it takes to get PNP?
4. The only reason behind this is to bring my wife and kid here as soon as possible, since its more then a year we met each other. Her visit visa applications refused two times, and now if I waited for my degree to complete and then get my post graduate work permit and then apply for PNP, it will take too much time.
5. Based on my above, case please guide me what should be shortest and feasible option for me to get PR soon for my whole family?

1.Well, it does not matter even if you apply PNP now still you had to wait ..becoz the thing is that 'It will not consider until they received your Final Transcript and Graduation letter from the institution or University from where you are going to finished your master's study.
2. Your Co-op experience will not be count towards CEC .They need actual Full time work status with your post graduate work permit.
3. For your PNP approval they ask for your Post graduate work permit too .You will not receive a PNP file number until you complete their desired requirements with post graduate work permit handy.
4. You can apply for wife and kid as dependents under PNP ..you had to show some extra funds ..
5. Rest you can read any other information related ton Ontario PNP by checking the following link..

Application received by CIC Nova Scotia - Aug 11, 2014
AOR - NO
MED - NO

I emailed them twice to verify if the application was received. they replied me back from "cpp-ottawa" confirming that application has been received and i should keep communication to minimum.

Still waiting for AOR.

Did you pay your fees by DEMAND DRAFT OR CREDIT CARD? If yes, when money was deducted from your account?

I emailed - CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca, and i received the reply from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. it took them 3 weeks to reply.

I paid my fee by Draft which hasn't been cashed yet.

Thanks Rocky for your advise, I saw time lines for PNP and it seems it will take ages to get PR and to bring my family here. In the mean time I am going to apply for her open work permit as a last try, lets see what happens then.. May be by that time, Express Entry of PNP also start working.

To my surprise, I got my file number today. March 02, 2015 7:53 PM. I am On-PNP applicant, my file reached 18th September, 2014. I got QA call in November (believe me QA call is not important)

My file reached CIO on Aug. 25/2014, and i am still waiting for my file number. No QA call received.
i am OPNP applicant.
