On Campus VS Off Campus Residence for Family

Hi,
I would be going to University of Alberta. I have two options one on campus and other is off campus. We are two members. Me and my wife. Which one should we go for?

Of course we cant share it with room mates so cutting down cost by sharing may not be the option.

Why not? For a 3 bedroom house, you both live in one room while your other mates take other two rooms.

Well i think if they are famalies then it may work out but rest is trust issues. I think i would not leave my wife alone in some unknown people next room. Who knows they are drunk boys or.... basically safety is the point
