Old passport damaged

I was filling out my post ITA form and had to put in my travel history. 7 years ago I had gone on a holiday to 2 countries in South East Asia + another holiday to UAE and I mentioned it in my form. Now in the documents required checklist, I have been told to upload a scan copy of my passport + all the visas and stamps on it.

I had used my old passport for that trip which expired in 2013. Later that passport got damaged during a flood in my home and the visa pages are all illegible. I didn't bother much about it since the passport and all the visas in it were expired. Do I need to show the stamps for those trips?

You don't need to upload the old passport. Only current passport will suffice. Good Luck!

You need to submit a letter of explanation for this. I was required to upload scanned copies of my old and new passports and was requested to send hard copies of those scanned pages again via courier. This may be dependent on your visa officer though.

If possible, look for proof to back the flood e.g. newspaper reports, pictures etc. If you have any of your itinerary from past trips in your email, print them out and attach to your letter of explanation. You'll need to be able to prove everything in your application. DO NOT forget to get English translations of documents if/where necessary. I know of a man whose PR was refused for not translating his marriage certificate.

Uploading of expired passports is not required even if they contained past visa stamps, since the instructions say to upload valid travel document (passport etc). That being said, you may be asked to provide them depending on your VO. In that case, be prepared with your explanation.
