old/new point system

Hi PMM and other friends

I have received a letter from embassy to submit my documents and ielts within 45 days. They will assess me against both (old & new) systems. I need 70 in old and 67 in new system. I score 69 in old and 63 in new system (with IELTS). Is there any hope for me or not?

I have a masters degree of 16 years. Will I get 15 or 16 numbers according to ols point system?

If you are getting 63 points in current points criteria without IELTS so you need just 5 bands in IELTS exam that is not a big deal, and your case looking strong. so you dont worry

But i score 63 with ielts so the old criterion is a hope for me where i score 69 without interview. How many points a visa officer has?
