Hi eagle...we r Feb applicnt.eligibility-passed,criminality - NT started,security- NT started.our interview is waived.our medical is expired in Jan 2016.my question is why we didn't gt remedical request till now.i m worried..pls eagle reply

I also asked you a question which you still have not answer on the previous page. Well, there are two scenarios which will take place for your medical situation.

1. CIC can still extend your medical certificate to their discretion and proceed with PPR based on your timeline. Don't worry too much about Criminality and security. I have 98% confidence that Criminality and security are completed but you could not see that on your GCMS notes sent by CIC because someone did not update them at the time they were generated. Everyone who is reading this should know that when you get your GCMS notes they always come with 1 month delay as a result you still don't know how your application stands in CIC's balance. They did that purposely so that they don't feel pressure from the clients. By the time they download your GCMS notes any information added second later on your e-File will not appear in the notes already downloaded for you. What is worse also is that you need to wait for 30 days to get those notes.

NOTICE: One day I wanted to get a picture of how these people work at Access to Information department. I requested my wife GCMS notes but I did not send the correct ATIP consent form, they replied to me saying they gave me 60 days to comply with the correct ATIP consent form while they are waiting to proceed with the request. I waited 2 weeks to see if the notes will be downloaded with a week delay. Guess what? the notes were already prepared and waiting for me to comply and I received them within 30 days mark from the date I initially requested them. So those notes will seat and seat until the 30th day someone will look at the due date then check what needed to be released and what don't and email them to you. Which means we are not getting fresh information in case they were lot of entries in your e-File but it still okay to give us the little light produce by the moon in darkness time.

2. CIC may still request to redo your medical. They also understand that when medical expires because of their backlogs or other government offices did not reply on time to their different requests they tend to extend some of clients' medical if and only if the previous assessment was perfect.

You can still request new set to see where they were 30 days ago.

Hey folks, a few questions regarding ECAS.

1. Are the applicant and the sponsors UCI # the same? My wife (the applicant) has her's from her OWP. It is the same as her working holiday visa she got 1.5 years ago (which we expected). I am curious if mine will be the same, or an entirely different number.

2. For those who have received both their AOR and OWP already, is the Application Number the same on both?

The purpose of my questions is to know if I have enough information with OWP alone to view ECAS for the sponsor. I have read that the sponsor can expect to see information there prior to the applicant (is this true?) Thanks in advance for humoring me and my curiosity.

I really don't understand the ECAS.
Previously the PR status went into process after 3-4 months of the file transfer and within 1-2 months they changed it into decision made.so total of approx 5-7 months for a normal case.
The new Ecas immediately shows in process after the file is transferred but it does not necessarily means that one gets decision made in 1-2 months.they take 5-7months after the file in process for the decision.
this means that now when you see the line that we have started processing your file,it does not mean that they have started working on it.
One more thing i am thinking of is on 3 march i was able to see my PR in process but no line was added to it.and after one week they added the line that we started working on your file on 3 march. i am thinking why didn't they added this line on the same day when they changed the PR status in process.

1. Did her eCase changed to Decision Made also or it still displaying In Process?
2. Did she redo medical or they were extended?

Good Day dear Saina,

Since last year SA have been sent to the client with a delay of 2-3 as a group. So you are right that eCas will change to In process and file sent to visa office while some sponsors have not been aware of the transfer. I see it when I study people's GCMS notes. Hope this will refresh your heart and calm your mind.

Hi Eagle333,

So as of Thursday MVO requested for my husband and his daughter to redo their medical even though it wasn't going to expire for another week. I thought they would have extended it. It was completed on Monday morning of this week.

I wonder now how long will it take for us to hear back from them requesting PPR? Would you know a rough timeline of them asking for it after re-medical?
