Hi all, as you all have got NOIs for Skilled Trade OINP so I believe you must have for info and insights to the below questions..

1. As it is said OINP thoroughly checks for the authenticity and genuineness of the employer… Does the employer need to have a Business Name instead of just a corporation number to look legit?

2. I believe the business should be on Google or have reviews or a website to look genuine..?

What else do we need to make sure before applying to this stream so that I am well prepared and know if my employer is good enough to get my PR through this OINP skilled trade stream?

Will highly appreciate your responses. Thanks.

Hey,

I am not sure whether they check the authenticity of the business. But from your side you will have to submit T4, job offer letter and experience reference letter from the employer. OINP might contact business in case of legitimacy or ask you for more additional documents. Better consult immigration lawyer to clear your doubts and have better undertading.

Thank You.

I would appreciate a reply to this. I'm in a situation where I unnecessarily listed too many companies from my past experience. I created another profile just to check my CRS score, and it turned out to be the same. I understand that we can file without including those companies in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), but after receiving 600 points, should I delete that work experience immediately, or should I wait for the Invitation to Apply (ITA) and then make the changes? Please advise. I've received NOI and currently at ONIP portal collectin documents

Hey,

As far as I know, you should only include experience that you claim points or that help you to get points. Even, only add that experience you can prove(have all the documents).

Hey,

I applied using my work experience for which I had all the required documents. I addressed the remaining details under "other activities" with an explanatory letter. My main concern is that I have a T4 form reflecting six months of income (June to December 2023), and the current year's T4 will not be available until January 2025. I have seen many applications returned due to the absence of a T4 form. I hope to receive an update within 45 days, as this would allow me to refile if needed.

Additionally, I have claimed points for my wife's studies under the IRCC, but I don’t have a place to update her information, except for her passport and bank statement for settlement funds.

It`s okey since you have 6 month of T4 along with paystubs of whole experience. I don`t know where update spouse info but you can explain all in LOE.

Yesterday, I submitted a web form with my all pay stubs and full 1.5 years statement showing that the T4 for 2024 has not yet been released, and mentioned in my letter of explanation (LOE). Today, the information has been added to my file(just got a reply). This is my second web form after submission.

I am currently waiting for a letter from my employer confirming my recent salary increase, and I plan to submit another web form with my wife's Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). I hope they don’t get upset with me for submitting web forms so frequently.

As of now 2 webforms - another is on its way in a few days.
