OINP query

I know that OINP is not open for this year yet. I have a query regarding the program. I will get the desired (400+) points in June of this year. Say for ex: If it opens in feb end, will it be open till June? or, its just open and shut case? It's open for a day or a week in feb and gets filled immediately.

I know that no one can judge... but, any suggestions/views based on past year(s) experience is appreciated.

It will keep open until they invite required applicants and quota is full. This was last year's trend. May be they come out with changes. Keep checking OINP updates.

During my time, for 2015 quota, they were open up until February of 2016.

I'm not sure about last year's.

In reality they were sending out their PT NOI around 10 full weeks and with that managed to fill in rest of 2015, whole 2016 and part of 2017 quota. (they ended in the middle of February and they really started somewhere end of October - lot of bugs before, and also in between some x-mass holidays were happening).

Right now, lot of people are waiting for Ontario, so it is difficult to say how fast will be the remaining quota filled.

Understood.. any rough idea of when the quota for this year will be resumed.. March, April or is it anyone' s guess?

The last draw with cut-off score of 447 has shut down all speculations about OINP increasing their eligibility score from the current 400 CRS points to more points. Atleast it will remain the same (400) this year.
