OINP Processing Time

Hello There,

I have submitted my OINP application under human capital stream in late January 2016.

Its been almost 4 months since I've submitted my application.

I emailed them to check the status but they haven't reply me back yet.

I called them but they are saying they can't check the status of the application.

I am worried, how long still it will take to complete the process.

if any body there .. who has same issue.. !!

Count me in. I have applied for OINP (Human Capital Priorities) in late February ( application received by OINP On Feb 22,2016) and have received no update on status yet.
 
right now they are still processing mid december applications to be honest, so us january applicants have a long way to go , for sure. hang in there buddy!

HoPe90: Is there a way to check what month applications they're currently processing? TIA
 
@HoPe90, I called OINP office last week and they told me they are processing January's Applications. when did you get the update about december and how... ? that's how we can make a guess that how much days generally they are taking to process the files.

I normally just follow the december thread, so I am able to see which members have recieved their AOR and nomination. They also have like a spreadsheet so you can actually see who has gotten an AOR and who hasn't and what not.

@K1088: January? That's great, this means they're speeding up since they don't accepting new applications. Thanks for the info ;)
 
I applied on 15th January 2016, still no AOR now.
Emailed the office and no reply yet.
Called the office only to have an auto responder in the phone. I couldn't get through the phone to an operator.
How can I get them to ask for the status now?
 
it seems they are still working on December applicants and we january applicants should probably wait till like July or something to even start seeing some movement. Lots and lots of patience is needed.

I am in the same situation too.
OINP Application received: Jan 27, 2016
AOR Received: June 7, 2016
WP expiring: July 11, 2016

I did apply for visitor visa to keep my status current in Canada on June 10, 2016 (Decision pending). Can I still apply for BOWP/WP extension just before expiry of WP to buy some time while I get OINP nomination followed by AOR/R10 from CIC?
