I want to ask that what is the total Processing Time of OINP starting from Notification of Interest to Permanent Residency?
And at which stage do you have to show the proof of funds?
Thank you.
Thanks again Vensak. And what is the timeline from Notification of interest to PP back andvensak said:1. Count with around 2 years between getin Ontario notification and getting your PR card. (it can be shorter but it is not always shorter).
2. First proof of funds is needed with PNP application right after PT NOI from Ontario. Next time it is needed for Federal part after getting nomination.

Landing? And can you show 3 months bank statement?
For step 3 From ITA to COPR, is it really 6 months being conservative? From what I've read in the forum it's taking well over 9 months for some folksvensak said:Timeline:
1. From Ontario PT NOI to Ontario PNP - app. 1 year (that is current status and can be less depending on the case)
2. From PNP to ITA - 1 month (this is worst case scenario if you hit Xmass time).
3. From ITA to COPR - 6 months (yes it can be shorter, but it is better to be conservative).
4. From COPR to landing - 4 month (here it depends on you, but most people need to quit current job and arrange stuff before leaving). Soft landing can be shorter, but I try to calculate real landing
5. From landing to PR cards - 2 month (here I am again rather conservative, as it can be anywhere between 3 weeks and 2 months).
That together gives 2 years of conservative planning. If you are lucky, it can be faster.
Proof of funds: - you need currrent bank status offically confirmed and 6 months + bank statement that that amount is stable. if you only got it recently, you also need to proove where you have it from (gift certificate or such).
It can, but then again, PNP have to deal with provinces first, so the only additional stuff you are sending is your medical (formality in most cases), Police certificates and travel history (and this will be the part that will take them most time to decide upon). When it comes to other documents you would be rather well trained from provinces what to send and show them.nmuntz said:For step 3 From ITA to COPR, is it really 6 months being conservative? It also means that you can get all documents together rather fast.
Depend on provine. For example some like manitoba do give points for that.zaksam777 said:Thanks again Vensak.
Relatives in Canada mean blood relations strictly. Can they be cousins also? I have cousins and my dads uncle in Canada. Can I have points for them?
if it was gifted recently (appeared on that account recently), you need to have gift certificate from her ( i think people use affidavit for that). And yes they need to be in your account or in spouse account or in coowned account with spouse. (meaning you need to be capable to use them).Sheeba Bernard said:What if the money is given as a gift from my mother but it is deposited in my account after i get NOI from OINP?
