Option 2. I also did the same thing. After sending details to OINP with new EE number, I got the below reply in 5 days.:


Dear Madam/Sir,



Thank you for your email correspondence to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) mailbox.



Please be advised that your Express Entry profile has been updated.





We hope this information will assist you. Once again, thank you for your email and for your interest in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

Call Ontario contact us number and ask them. They will confirm you surely .

Cause I've received my Decision in progress on 30th July and I'm still awaiting my Nomination
