In OINP Form Work & Personal history section are merged in one. Not same in eAPR.
Hm..do I need to write a personal history for ONIP? I didn't see the requirement in ONIP guideline though.

Hope the above clears all your queries...All the Best!
Thank you for your prompt response CanadaWeCome.

I have a small doubt here. Which point should I start my personal history with (education, or employment?); as the guideline says...all activities starting age 18 or last 10 years. For example; 1. Completed Secondary Education - 2004 2. Completed Post-Secondary Education - 2004 ....and so on.

Or,

1. Completed Master's Degree in 2012.
2. Started working in May 2012. It was my first job.
2. Changed job, joined a different company in Dec 2012

...and so on.

It would be really helpful to see a sample, or a filled sample of Nominee Application Form, LOE, etc.

Thank you for your help.

Sir,

In fact I have similar question.
But I think TLOU was asking whether he/she can leave the 1.5 years not fill in EE, but not personal history.

So i want to ask again, that: in EE, CIC EE, whether can only submit work experience related to NOC that need to claim points?
By EE, I meant my Express Entry profile. I did not add those 1.5 years in my Express Entry profile because I did not want to get points for that. I just though it might cause issues later on for FSW as I am only claiming points for 1 year work experience.

Company A: 6 months (Can't get proper reference letter)
Company B: 1 year (Can't get proper reference letter)
Company C: 10 months (Acquired proper reference letter)
Company D: Current since November 2015 (Acquired proper reference letter)

I am only using Company C & D as my work experience. However I added all of my work experience(Company A, B, C, D) in the Personal and Work History in the OINP application form. At this point, I wrote a Letter of Explanation to say that I am not claiming those 1.5 years from Company A & B. But still, I only showed 1 year work experience in my Express Entry profile (Company C & D only).

My work experience summary in different places so far:

Express Entry profile: Company C & D
OINP Application form: Company A, B, C & D

I think it might be better to have less points than claiming more points in Express Entry that cannot be proven with proper reference letters. My worry previously was whether it might be an issue, given that I didn't show all of my work experience in Express Entry. But I took CanadaWeCome's advice to add everything in my OINP Personal and Work History and then send a Letter of Explanation that I am not claiming points for Company A & B.

What you did and are doing is perfect. No harm in writing all the experiences (in personal history) but claim only what you have reference letter for and mention that in work history only and add an LoE if you feel the need to.

Thanks for your detail clarification, it's really clear.
For me, I listed all work experience in NSPNP application form, but not provide the LOE...I'll learn from this time, and prepare for next time.
Thanks.

OK, so this question is specific to the OINP application.

1) I have a two week gap in between jobs that I took for personal time, should I explicitly mention this?
2) Should I include an international travel history with this section? For the IMM 5669 form they specifically request "If you were outside your country of nationality, indicate your status in that country.", which to me implies international travel history for the last 10 years, however, this is not the case for the OINP form and yet some people on this thread has suggested providing a travel history.

Thanks,

Peter.

If you study the OINP Application Form, you'll notice a table that says 'Personal & Work' History in item No.3 of section D, where you need to mention what you did (employed, unemployed, vacation etc.) without leaving any gaps in the timeline from the date of application till the last 10 yrs of your life.

Hope you could be clear!
CanadaWeCome,

Do I have to provide any experience letter for the work history lists in Personal History for OINP or EE? Whatever experience I am not claiming ,i am listing it in Personal history. But what if CIC ask for any reference or experience letter for work mentioned in personal details and I don't have anything to submit, still be consider as misrepresentation? In that case what shall we do.

Thanks again.

If you are not claiming points for any of your job then technically you are not required to produce reference letter for that job. However, it is advisable to keep reference letter handy for all the jobs even if you are not claiming points for any job from your total experience. You never know what Visa officer might ask later.

My suggestion would be to arrange reference letters now.

By EE, I meant my Express Entry profile. I did not add those 1.5 years in my Express Entry profile because I did not want to get points for that. I just though it might cause issues later on for FSW as I am only claiming points for 1 year work experience.

At this point, I wrote a Letter of Explanation to say that I am not claiming those 1.5 years from Company A & B. @TLOU : How did this go for you, did you have to provide docs for companies A&B later and were you nominated? I am in the same boat and not sure whether to include or exclude companies without reference letters from my Work History and Resume.
