OINP people did you know this ?

I was just reading about OINP processing times on their website in the FAQ section and i Stumbled upon this:

"Applicants submitting applications in person must note that reception staff are not authorized to provide application advice or review the completeness of applications Please also note that Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program does not process applications during the months of January and December and that time accumulated during this period is not included in the processing time calculation for applications."

This info is under the question "How long will it take Ontario to process my application?" on the page http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPQUESTIONS.html#display

This might be the reason why the processing might have been slow over the last 2 months.

This might be the reason why the processing might have been slow over the last 2 months.

Another reason might be due to CIC not yet providing immigration quotas for 2016.

This is not true for OINP express entry but for base PNP stream applicants. They did work upon cases during the month of Dec & Jan but with limited staff.

OINP Timeline sheet indicates, No AOR has been send to FSW category since Nov 2015. Almost 4 months have passed

I think the sheet just needs to be updated. I got my AOR last December 8 and nomination on January 15, thanks be to God.

are you a FSW or CEC candidate ? also, can you please share your timeline ?
