application delivered 7th Jan

AOR 13th July 16,

Additional Docs request - 14 th November '16

Docs sent - 17th November

They send me the acknowledgement that they have received the same.

But for some reason they sent me an reminder email about additional docs on 15th Dec which i sent right away.

Now awaiting there response since then. My file number ends with -MB .

Called them today and the operator had no clue about the deadline but he acknowledge that documents have been received.

Wait continues ..

I have general question that,

After PNP nomination from any provinces, if suppose, ITA is selected based on the CRS point reduction further, do we have any chance to deny PNP nomination and go with ITA for PR processing directly. please clarify this process.

Is there any process exist that ITA is going to be selected based on CRS point after PNP nominated
since the processing time of Ontario PNP is approximately 8 to 10 months.

I am calling almost every week and yesterday I mailed them and got a reply within a hour that the file is still in processing. They have messed up with my application royally.
I had submitted EE profile details in March 2016 as a reply to their mail, this was never acknowledged and to top it they put me another mail marking to wrong email ids in Sept which i never received. However I received my AOR and payment receipt and so I was under impression that my file is in process like all others. Only towards End of December I got hold of someone nice on phone who told me my profile still shows ineligible and confirmed they never received any mails for the same. It was shocking how can they miss so many mails
Now almost a month where they confirmed they received all details however still no movement on the file.

I would like some help from the experienced guys over here as I am in a bit of dilemma here, I had been following this forum for guidelines throughout my application.
Some details regarding my application:

Application sent to OINP 17th March 2016.
Nomination received from OINP: 17th December 2016

Now, my CRS score is 408, and when I applied for nomination I had said that my spouse would not be accompanying with me as if I would have done that I would have my score reduced below 400 and wouldn't be eligible for nomination.

now after all this I have given my IELTS again and now my score stays above 400 even if I apply spouse accompanying me to canada.

My question here is that can I now ask OINP to add my spouse to nomination?? Or do I fill the e-apr with spouse accompanying me and see to what happens?

Please advise me on this. I already have an ITA and I need to submit my application soon enough but I have not found any proper advice on what to do. Also my EE profile expires on 02/02/2017. that is today. So do I create a new profile with accompanying spouse and ask OINP to link my nomination to that profile or send a mail to them to add spouse to my profile?


Any help is appriciated.

IMO you don't need to tell OINP, so long as you score is above 400 you're OK as you meet the criteria. I would just go on and include her in your profile and submit. Just make sure that you can meet the 400 points mark.

If you want to communicate this to OINP, then do it in parallel to your ITA. Get Form 16 - http://www.forms.ssb.gov.on.ca/mbs/ssb/forms/ssbforms.nsf/GetFileAttach/005-0161E~1/$File/0161E.pdf
Fill in the correct information, explain that your now bringing your wife along and include a rationale that with your new IELTS score you still remain above the 400 mark with her. But you know OINP, don't expect a ack or a reply...

Well, back in the days final stage used to mean anything from 2 weeks to 2 months... But now days only God knows as everything has changed.

You may be in the final phased as Approved but waiting for the 2017 quota to be released... Or you may just be waiting an OK from a senior officer... difficult to tell really.

In any case, good luck and hope you get it soon!
