I contacted fortis in India a week ago and Pap smear test for female is part of medical test is what they said.
As g126 said, it might differ on case to case and hospital as well.

And as people were talking about Misbehaviour of doctors with female patients. Be with your wife all the time!!

Contact the hospital to get an appointment!
Cheers!

Standard medical checkup plus a chest x ray to test for tuberculosis, blood test to test for HIV and Sifilis. There is also a urine test.

Depending on the results of the above they may require more detail tests.

My wife went with me and no pap or other women tests were required, however, depending on what you tell the doc he may ask for more tests.

Hurray! Got Nomination!!!!!! I was awake till 2 am to see nomination mail but I didn't.
Dropped an e-mail and I here I got Nomination after 53 minutes!

If anyone is waiting for a nomination post positive decision mail, and they had requested for new express entry details or any other document, understand that they deal with current cases and they might not go back to your case immediately as they are busy (as per the receptionist), just drop them a mail(don't spam them though) as a reminder copying ontarionominee@ontario.ca.(receptionist would follow up or remind the case officer in addition to our mail 8) )

Hi,
I am a bit confused at this point, I got my Ontario Provincial Nomination and the ITA in December. I am filling my application through the GC key portal, The application says to upload the medical reports, But when I contacted the medical center in Doha Qatar, they said that they were recently informed by CIC not to perform the medical exam until the CIC gives instructions to applicant. I can see that some of you are doing your medical exams this week, so cant understand what exactly this means.. Any thoughts

Also how do I add my timeline signature to this mail.

The primary applicant still has to do upfront medical exam. The dependents in the application will need to do medicals only after receiving instructions from IRCC after submission of e-APR. This is as per the update on 15th Dec 2016.

You'll need to upload the medical receipt you get after doing the medical to get the AOR... if in your case they refuse to give you a medical before IRCC tells them to do so then you should get this in writing and upload it as your medical receipt/proof along with a LoE.

I guess in you case IRCC will specifically ask you to do the medicals and that's when you'll do them.

In your case, it should be fine.
But now, it's only the primary applicant who has to do it upfront. Check it on IRCC website. There is a notice mentioned clearly.

Thank you for that. The page changed on the 15th...

This update is only for Spousal / partners sponsorships only. For regular ITA candidates, everyone in the application has to do upfront medicals IMO.
